BUY A SWORD   Luke 22:16  “ . . . and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment
and buy one.”
   Many Christians are antigun advocates. Yet, the above words are from Christ
himself. Back then the approved weapon was the sword; today it is the gun.
Could Jesus have been an NRA member? He said his generation was a generation
of vipers. He told his apostles to take swords with them for protection. You don’t
fight poisonous ‘snakes’ with bare hands.
   There are a lot of ‘snakes’ among our people today. Don’t feel bad about owning
or buying a gun for protection. Obviously times have not changed much since
Christ’s era. He was concerned about his disciples just as you are about your
loved ones today.
