Tom Decker has worked tirelessly over a long period to alert the 
public to various fallacies in the traditional understandings of the 
teaching of Jesus and the Bible. His work will eventually cause many 
to give up cherished but mistaken beliefs, held only because they are 
"traditional," not because they have been examined. That Jesus was a 
Jew reciting the Jewish unitarian creed is an obvious fact, but 
apparently not known to churchgoers, who also do not realize that 
Jesus preached as Gospel the coming Kingdom. Jesus promised no one 
"heaven" at death. As Tom makes clear in his Chronicles, most 
Christians do not sound much like Jesus. Their language is so foreign 
to the Hebrew-oriented faith of Jesus whom they claim as Savior. 
Something drastic needs to be done to give the Bible a chance of 
being heard intelligibly. Verity Chronicles has much to offer in this 
regard.
